Information We Collect

When you use NurishAI to scan a product label, the photo you capture is sent securely to our backend service, which uses Anthropic's Claude AI to analyze the image and identify ingredients. This image is used only to generate your scan results and is not stored on our servers beyond what's necessary to process your request.

We do not require you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email, or other personal information directly, except as necessary for subscription billing, which is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store (we do not receive or store your payment information).

Local Storage

Your scan history, including ingredient results and any saved images, is stored locally on your device only. We do not have access to this data, and it is not transmitted to or stored on our servers except during the brief moment needed to analyze a new scan.

Third-Party Services

We use Anthropic (the maker of Claude AI) to analyze scanned images. Anthropic's use of this data is governed by their own privacy policy. We use Apple's App Store and StoreKit for subscription billing.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with advertisers or other third parties beyond what's described above.

Children's Privacy

NurishAI is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
